Greetings again from Denmark.
I posted a while back with the following recipy: 1 kg of blueberries 0,3 kg raspberries 2,1 kg of acacia honey 1,75 kg of wildflower honey 0,35 kg of heather honey topped off with boiled cold water 1 pack of yeast nutrient 1 pack of Vinoferm Bioferm killer yeast with 16% alcohol tolerance Starting gravity was around 1.155 - 1.160
And everything went well acording to plan... and i was especting a semi sweet mead finish.... The yeast ate it all .... final gravity reading is 0.98 ....
I tasted it and yes its dry .. a little fruitty start like a Merlot wine infact, then comes the heat .. alot of heat .. still not unpleasent though, and now comes the kicker the aftertaste .. is like chewing on a bitter gym sock : (
How do i salvage this best?
